The Kera sit2ist hoist is a completely new category of the hoist. It allows a single caregiver to transfer a user who has no standing strength, balance or grip, quickly between seats without having to fit a sling underneath them. The patented Chestpad and Backstrap combination securely lifts the user by their upper body and rests them in a stable and comfortable forward position.
- It can be the perfect progression from the Star Mover, an alternative to a standing hoist (even when standing and grip strength are reduced) or it can keep someone from requiring a sling hoist in some instances.
- It is light and manoeuvrable with a small footprint and no electrical parts enabling it to be conveniently stored or transported in your home.
- The Kera includes a Backstrap and comes ready to use.
- The accessories range allows the Kera to adapt to user ability and size, including children.
The following variants allow the Kera sit2sit to be configured to best suit the user:
- The Kera80 models have a shorter Caregiver handle and are more compact with a Safe Working Load of up to 80kg.
- The Kera120 models have a longer Caregiver handle allowing a larger Safe Working Load up to 120kg.
- The Kera High models are raised for users in higher seats such as Power Wheelchairs and commodes. Seat heights range from 480mm – 650mm.
- The Kera Low models are for users in lower seats such as self-propelled chairs and low day chairs. Seat heights range from 380mm – 550mm.
