FHG Completes Major Aged Care Furniture Fit-Out in Queensland
FHG recently completed a comprehensive aged care furniture fit-out in Queensland, creating a safe, comfortable, and stylish environment for elderly residents.
FHG, proudly part of the Aidacare family, has recently completed a major aged care furniture fit-out in Queensland. This achievement is the result of months of careful planning and consultation with North Brisbane Aged Care management, its residents, and the FHG projects team.
FHG supplied over 500 pieces of custom Australian-made furniture for the seniors’ living community in North Brisbane. Key areas included in the project were central spaces of the facility, such as the dining, activity, and lounge rooms.
A major focus for the FHG projects team was the safety and comfort of the users. Another essential step was ensuring that all furniture was of the highest quality, to guarantee durability and an extended working life.
In collaboration with the facility's designer, the team created a warm, non-clinical environment tailored to the needs of elderly residents, including dementia-specific areas. The handcrafted furniture has improved wayfinding, supported independence, and was designed for easy cleaning and long-term use.
This transformation has brought functional and elegant spaces to life across the facility's three levels.
