With the ever-growing number of persons with disabilities being cared for in the home environment, the carer is faced with many challenges that would have only been addressed in the Hospital and Aged Care sectors in the past.

With the ever-growing number of persons with disabilities being cared for in the home environment, the carer is faced with many challenges that would have only been addressed in the Hospital and Aged Care sectors in the past. This one-day program has been specifically designed to address some of the challenges of Healthcare Professionals working in the Home Care sector, including Manual Handling Considerations and Pressure Injury Prevention, which will incorporate best practice, equipment suitability and selection. Additional sessions throughout the day will include information and tools to assist you with working with government-funded programs, such as NDIS, TAC and DVA.
