SWEP (State-Wide Equipment Program)
Aidacare is a contracted supplier for Mobility and Rehabilitation Equipment as well as Home Modifications for eligible State-wide Equipment Program (SWEP) clients.
Aidacare’s equipment consultants are available to demonstrate and trial items at any location, including client’s private homes. We are highly experienced and qualified provider of home modification services assisting people to continue to live safely and independently in their own home. Home modifications are based on a thorough assessment by an Occupational Therapist and can range from something as simple as installing grab-rails, hand-rails, lever taps and step-wedges to more complex home modifications such as installing fixed wheelchair ramps, widening doorways and modifying bathrooms.
Our installers work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, clients and carers to determine the needs of all parties involved, incorporating the choices of the SWEP Clients into the plan for Home Modifications and clear communication is maintained throughout the process.
