Pressure Care Webinar

Pressure injuries present a large personal and economic cost across healthcare settings. OTs are increasingly seen as experts in pressure care and are often called upon to assess, prescribe and ensure correct functioning of foam and air mattresses and pressure care equipment.

Depending on your area of practice, knowledge of pressure care principles and the science behind different pressure care equipment solutions is often not established. Having a more in-depth understanding of these principles supports clinical reasoning and better outcomes for your clients. Therapists will be armed with knowledge from the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers/Injuries: Clinical Practice Guideline Fourth edition on how to qualify pressure care solutions following this presentation.
